Anniston – Jackson Hodges is the Anniston’s Public Relations Director. He shared that they would love to have everyone join them at Anniston City Meeting Center (1615 Noble Street Anniston AL 36201) at 9:00 am on Monday, January 16, 2023 to celebrate Dr. King’s life, legacy and lasting impact through the MLK Breakfast/Youth Participation Day. Local youth will also perform and provide free breakfast!

This year’s theme will be “Never Lose Hope!” Kimberly Houzah, a Saks High School graduate, will be our guest speaker.

All students from the city or county are welcome to take part in this event. The school that has the highest participation rate will receive an award.


Please take note of the following important information:


  • All registered volunteers must be present at Anniston Meeting Center by 8:00 AM. All participating students from the county and city will need to sign in at the table.
