Wednesday’s announcement by the Andalusia Chamber of Commerce that Bert Bean, an Andalusia native who is also the CEO of Insight Global, will be the Chamber’s guest speaker on Thursday, February 9.


We are thrilled to have Bert back home to speak at the annual banquet. We are confident that he will bring a message that will capture the attention of our guests. “We look forward to him being at this year’s banquet,” AACC Executive director Laura Wells stated.


Bean is the CEO of Insight Global. He leads over 4,000 employees in 66 offices across the United States and Canada. The company employs more than 35,000 consultants and serves more than 3,000 clients. Bean is a veteran of the staffing sector, having started his career as a recruiter at Insight Global. Bert’s unwavering focus on people and their financial well-being has resulted in strong growth, with the company now worth $4 billion.


Under his leadership, Insight Global has grown to include Compass and Insight Global Health. These services assist clients with company culture transformation, leadership development and talent management strategies. He transformed Insight Global’s vision and increased its commitment to social equality. Insight Global’s first director of diversity, equity and inclusion was hired to help create a division that focuses exclusively on the implementation diverse practices for clients and employees.


Bert was the first to ensure that all employees had access to free mental healthcare counseling in 2022. Insight Global, a leader in talent solutions, has been named Best Place to Work for Women four times running by Fortune.


The theme for this year’s banquet is “Champions in Business”, with an ESPY-type awards evening. For Chamber members, individual tickets cost $50 and for the general public $75. You can reserve tables by selecting one of these packages:


  • Platinum: $2000 Premier reserved seating for 16 with voice recognition, company logo and stage
  • Gold: $1000 – premier reserved seating for 12 or voice recognition
  • Silver: $750 – Reserved seating for eight, voice recognition
  • Bronze: $500 Reserved seating for four, voice recognition


For networking, doors will open at 5:15 p.m. The awards presentation ceremony will follow at 7 p.m. Dinner will be served. The evening will conclude with entertainment by a Harlem Wizard.
