Jacksonville (AL) – According to Buffy Lockette, Director of Strategic Communications at JSU, Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville State University is revising its visual identity and its logo for the first time since almost 15 years.
During its quarterly meeting, the JSU Board of Trustees approved a plan that was presented by the university’s marketing and advertising team. The plan places more emphasis on Jacksonville State University’s nickname “Jax State” and will be used in marketing materials and promotions.
Tim Garner, Chief Market Officer, stated that “it’s an exciting moment on campus, punctuated with rapid expansion.” “This new visual identity builds on that momentum and allows us to continue reaching new students and growing the JSU family.”
Over the next few years, the updated logo will be implemented in phases. University offices are encouraged not to spend any money on the project. They can use their existing business cards, stationery, and other printed materials, but they will be able to replace them with the updated design as necessary.
