Jacksonville (AL) – The International Student Organization invites campus and community members to celebrate the Lunar New Year from 5-7 p.m. on the front lawn at the International House. Enjoy performances, games, and food while learning about the celebrations in Asian countries. This event is open to all and is free of charge.

You should also make sure to go to the Gamecock Basketball Doubleheader at Pete Mathews Coliseum Thursday, January 26, to witness a performance by Red Panda, a Chinese-American acrobat. She rides a seven-foot tall unicycle and balances multiple ceramic bowls on both her feet and head. Central Arkansas will host the women’s basketball team at 5:45 p.m. while Lipscomb will play at 8 p.m. The men’s team will be facing off against Lipscomb at 8. Tickets cost $8 but are available for JSU students and anyone younger than 18.
