The Blue Lake Christian Writers Retreat will inspire you, whether you are a beginner or an experienced writer. It will take place March 29-April 1.

You will be taught by experienced professionals how to improve your writing and market your manuscripts.

Marilyn Turk, a Christian author and published speaker, will be leading the retreat. Her work has appeared in Guideposts magazine as well as Chicken Soup for the Soul and Lighthouse Digest.

The Blue Lake Christian Writers Retreat lasts three nights and three consecutive days at the Blue Lake Methodist Camp. Commuters who live within driving distance of Blue Lake Methodist Camp are welcome to join one or more days.

It will feature praise and worship, as well as a keynote address. Participants can choose from three morning continuing classes or 12 afternoon workshops. These offer information on a variety of writing topics, including articles, devotions and self-publishing.

Turk said that the faculty was “exceptional”. Lynn Austin, an award-winning author, will lead a series on fiction writing. Susan King, former editor of The Upper Room will also be teaching workshops on writing devotions. Focus on the Family’s Clubhouse Magazine will host a workshop on writing for children. Dr. John Herring will lead a workshop about writing Bible studies.

Turk said. “Everyone can get something out this conference. Writing is writing. This conference will show you how to write a story, article or devotion.

This retreat is extremely motivating. As a writer, it should help you clarify your goals. It will help you determine what you want to do and what you should work on.

You can also attend the retreat to create opportunities.
