Calhoun County, AL Each week, each week, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office released their latest “Most wanted” list. A “FTA” indicates that a person has failed to show up for a court appearance and doesn’t necessarily mean that they are guilty of a criminal conviction. A “Probation violation” is when a person is accused of a crime and ordered to be placed under probation justices. “SORNA” is the acronym for Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind everyone not to do anything independently, but instead call authorities such as the Sheriff’s Office or local Police Department to ask them to investigate further. Sometimes, warrants may be removed and the suspect has been removed from the wanted list.
