Birmingham, AL –Alabama Republican Party Chairman John Wahl issued the following statement in reaction to Biden’s State of the Union Address:
“I I wish that I could say that the Biden Administration had more concern for the state of our economy and the problems that confront the American citizens. Families across the nation struggle to pay for the necessities of life, such as gas, food and utilities. The wages haven’t kept pace with the record-breaking inflation rates caused by the reckless spending that is coming from Washington, DC.
“Meanwhile on the international stage, our adversaries have been encouraged, as was evident in the last week’s Chinese spy balloon incident that was clearly a breach of sovereignty. President Biden is more worried about the border of Ukraine than our borders. But all he has to do is promote the same failed social policies that led our country into these dire conditions. America requires genuine solutions, not a election campaign stump speech that tries make us believe that the policies he is promoting are effective.”
