Calhoun County, AL Calhoun County, AlabamaPer the Calhoun County Emergency Agency (EMA) the Alabama Severe Weather Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday begins on the 24th of February 2023. This holiday gives residents an opportunity to purchase certain weather preparedness items without the state’s sales or use tax (local usage tax and sales taxes might be applicable). The holiday starts around twelve-one a.m. on the 24th of February on a Friday in 2023, and will end at midnight on February 26, 2023.
