Anniston, AL –Per the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) A single-vehicle collision at around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, February. 22 caused the death of one Talladega man. Jacoby E. Dickerson, 27, suffered serious injuries in the crash when his 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer he was driving was unable to keep the road, hit the ditch and then overturned before hitting the wall of a retaining. Dickerson did not wear an appropriate car seat at the time of collision and was thrown off the vehicle. Dickerson was taken into Regional Medical Center in Anniston which he later passed away to injuries. The accident occurred at Saks Road, approximately one mile to the north of Anniston within Calhoun County. There is no further information available at this time. troopers from ALLEA’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division are continuing to look into the incident.
