Anniston, AL –On March 4, in the Ayers Room of the Anniston Public Library the AlaBenton Genealogical Society will host “Sam Jones, Methodist Circuit Rider and his home Rose Lawn” By Alice G. Duckett. The program will begin at 12:00 in the afternoon. The mission that the Society has is to protect local historical records and to assist those who are researching and creating family and local histories. It also aims encouraging public officials to keep any public records that can be used by people engaged in research on historical events.
