Anniston, AL –On the 9th of March, on a Thursday from 7 pm to 9 at night. CAST Theatre will be performing Into The Breeches at the JSU McClellan Theater. It’s 1942 the year 1942, and there’s trouble with the Oberon Playhouse! With the men in the lead in war, it seems that the season is likely to be canceled. This is until a determined group ladies join “the troopers” at home and stage the all female Shakespearean production. In a bind of tears, blood and determination, a surprising team is formed and help to make the show happen! This uplifting and touching backstage comedy explores artistic talent as a force in bringing us all together, and as a beacon of light in the darkest times.
