Today, on Juneau Afternoon Culturally Rich Conversations with The Juneau Black Awareness Association continue their celebration of Women’s History Month by highlighting the women who have made a difference in their lives! The host Christina Michelle and her guests discuss with passion women who have been the most important and powerful women who have shaped their lives.
This conversation in-depth focuses on the many achievements of women who are often left unnoticed by society. Christina Michelle and today’s guests use this occasion to tell some stories about those who were the most powerful women of their lives, and provide insight into the diverse, varied, and often unrecognized experiences of being female.
Guest Connie St. John is the founder and president of No Weapon Productions, which specialises in hang your life-changing entertainment TMfor film TV stage productions, stage shows, as well as live performances. As a writer/director who has won awards she has directed and written more than 100 screenplays and stage scripts that have been developed and broadcast across the globe. Her latest production, “We Don’t Do That Here!,” is a musical that is performed for high schoolers to middle schoolers with the aim of ending bullying and stop suicides among teens caused by bullying.
