Jacksonville State University Hosts an Online Seminar on Free Speech on Campus

Jacksonville, AL –On the 30th of March, from 5:30 pm until 7:15 at 7:00 pm JSU as well as The Tocqueville Lecture Series will be hosting an online course on free speeches on campus. The Tocqueville Lecture Series is pleased to present the Dr. Jonathan Marks (Ursinus College). His lecture, “Free Speech on Campus” examines the threats to freedom of inquiry at universities and if the concerns regarding this risk are true.

The virtual event will be hosted by an Zoom Webinar. Participants will receive a hyperlink upon registering at http://bit.ly/TLSMarks.

A Q&A period will be conducted following the presentation by Dr. Mark’s talk.

The event is free for all. This event is made possible by generous funding from the Jack Miller Center and the Alabama Humanities Alliance.
