Jacksonville (AL) –President Don C. Killingsworth and Mrs. Kristi Kilingsworth have once again partnered with Student Government Association to present JSU in Lights, a treasured campus tradition on Thursday, December 1, 5, at the President’s House.
As we light the campus for Christmas, enjoy hot chocolate, carriage rides and cookie decorating. At 5:45 p.m. there will be a special screening of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” This event is open to the public and is free. To donate to the Jacksonville Christian Outreach Center, guests are asked to bring gifts for youth aged 17 and under.
The Jacksonville Christmas Parade will be held the same night. It starts at 6:30 p.m. close to Johnson’s and travels along Highway 21 to Theron Montgomery Building. Enjoy a festive evening on the South’s friendliest campus!
There are also holiday events planned, including a Show Choir Christmas Concert Dec. 2, the Jax 5K Dec. 3, and the Marching Ballerinas Kickmas Dec. 6. For more information, visit the JSU calendar.
