Shirley “Teresa” Quick, 60 years old, from Chipley, Florida, departed this life on Friday 17 March 2023, at 2:40 a.m. in Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, Florida.

Teresa remains with her her husband, Chester Quick; daughters: Tia Flowers, Dixie Williams and husband Derrick and husband, Derrick; sister Deborah Cole and husband, Jerry Sisters-in-law Sheila Turman, Cora Linton and husband Jonathan, Arkie Quick; grandchildren: Cody Pickron, Logan Pickron, Derrick Williams “DJ”, Devonte Williams “Deuce”, Deshawn Williams “Baby D or Thumper” and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by parents Shirley Pearson and Ida Merle Pearson and their brother David Turman.
The Celebration of Life service for Teresa will be conducted by the family on an earlier date in September 2023. Teresa was a lover of her family. Her five grandchildren were her entire world. If she had the chance she would happily inform anyone who asked about “her” grandchildren. Her name has been called “whatever we wanted to her to be…and always perfect in any task she was given.” She was an interest in cross-stitching and cooking. She helped those who needed what they required when in need, and never slowed down in helping or assisting however she could. She will be forever remembered as the amazing woman she was.
