Anniston, AL –On Thursday, April 20th, Anniston Museum and Gardens Anniston Museum and Gardens is scheduled to show Scars Fell on Alabama: Don’t Make These Landscape Mistakes starting at 12:00 at 5:00 pm. Certain landscape errors can be incredibly costly. Some are hilarious. Don’t let any one of them become yours! Join June Mays for a journey through some of her best landscape mistakes, and take a lesson from these mistakes. She’ll even demonstrate the most embarrassing of her landscape mistakes!

In 2009 and since then, June has enjoyed a career as gardening designer and writer and lecturer. She relocated from London for a time to pursue a degree in garden design in The English Gardening School in London and has designed or worked on more than 100 gardens. While her retirement from designing gardens and consulting, she continues to talk and write about gardening. She has given talks at many garden-related events, club meetings, and master gardener associations across the United States. The author has contributed to Fine Gardening, Southern Accents, Flower Magazine, Lowe’s Creative Ideas, Birmingham Home and Garden, The American Gardener, The Alabama Gardener as well as The DIY Network website.
June as well as her partner Joe have houses in Birmingham, Alabama and in Sewanee, Tennessee. It is possible to come visit their garden at Sewanee at any time – just make sure to be sure to wear gloves!
