Munford, AL –Per the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) one-vehicle accident that took place at around 3:00 am. Friday 21st of April killed one Munford woman. Kelly D. Hamlin, 46, an uninvolved pedestrian, was trying to traverse Alabama 21, when she was hit by the 2009 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Jeffrey Banks 53, who lives in Munford. Hamlin was declared dead upon arrival at the site of the accident which took place in Alabama 21 near the 243 mile marker. The crash occurred within the municipal limits of Munford and Talladega County. There is no further information available at this time as Alabama Troopers of ALLEA’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division are continuing to look into the matter.
