Mrs. Lynda Fay Myrick, 90 from Andalusia died on Sunday on April 30, 2023, in the Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral ceremonies were conducted on Tuesday May 2, at 1 p.m. in the Buck Creek Baptist Church with Brother Tyler Ingram and Brother Billy Boles officiating, and Foreman Funeral Home acting as the director. The burial took place by burial in Buck Creek Cemetery. The funeral was held on the 1st of May, Monday between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. for the Foreman Funeral Home and at the church an hour before the service.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and Ronnie Milligan of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Abbey and John Trone of Birmingham; Cindy and Bobby Pollock of Andalusia; two sons, Leon Hayward Myrick Jr. of Andalusia and Elvis Myrick of Red Level; 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren with three great-grandchildren on the way; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Leon Hayward Myrick Sr. and one son Robert “Bob” as well as Elisha Myrick; two sisters, Jane Ealum Niven and Matilda “Tillie” Tabb; and a brother, Jack Ealum Mathis.

Pallbearers included Eric Pollock, Sterling Driver, Trenton Driver, Trevor Driver, Skylar Hollinghead, and Richard Johns.
