Virlen John Hoffman from Red Level, Alabama, our father and a friend to many, left for his ultimate getaway on the 4th of May, 2023. He was taken straight to Jesus’ arms. Jesus. Virl is a native of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, on May 15th, 1950 close to the Wildcat Hills. Virl was a tenacious worker but his life was much more than just business. It was full of music and laughter that brought joy to everyone in his journey. His enthusiasm for trying new things was endless and infectious. It did not matter if it was making traditional family recipes, carving long bows, making custom bows or constructing his T-Bird. He was always able to create a mess, a huge one, however the product was worth the effort. He was a lover of life, but in addition, the people that were with him. Family and friends were thrilled to have him around, but was sad to watch him leave. We will miss him deeply and his love for life will continue through those who loved him.
