Anniston, AL – On May 13th, Saturday, Alabama Region 6 Mental Health Service Coordinators will hold the second annual family embRACE #MentalHealthMatters event and 5k on 130 Summerall Gate Road, Anniston. The event will run from 8:00 am until at 1:00 at 1:00. Bring the whole family and spend an entire day at Fort McClellan. Join us for an event that is fun for the whole family to offer support and assistance for the local community. Food vendors and games and bounce houses Face painting, 5k and lots of fun for the entire family will be available.

5K registration: Cash in person or check, PayPal or Venmo on the day of event ($30).
Registration for runners on-site and runner warm-ups start at 6:30 AM in the Fort McClellan Aquatic Center front pavilion.
Games and races start at 8:15.
Food truck will be present from 10:00 – 1:00.
Local support is provided by the school Mental Health Service Coordinators, School Social Workers, JSU Social Work Program Local mental health organizations and individuals, non-profit resources local businesses and community support.
