Andalusia High School honoured nine senior athletes during the signing ceremony with a huge crowd in the AHS Auditorium on Thursday, May 4.

Four seniors will play football. Two will be playing for softball and volleyball and one of them will continue playing basketball.

“Thank you to all the nine senior athletes for the contribution you’ve made to Andalusia High School. Your dedication and hard work have paid off and now you can move into postsecondary studies and taking part in the sport you enjoy. I wish you all the most success and the best and anticipate watching which future opportunities are waiting on the field or in general life,” AHS Principal Ray Wilson said.

Mollie Furr is playing softball for Birmingham Southern. Her parents are Willie Furr and Amanda Furr. Mollie has been playing softball for her team, the Lady Bulldogs since the seventh grade.

Jaeden Jackson will play the game of football in East Central Community College in Decatur, Mississippi. The Jacksons are the children of April Shiver Jackson and Robert Jackson. Jaeden began playing football with the Bulldogs in 2022 after Jaeden transferred to the Bulldogs for his senior season.

Tycamren Jackson is playing soccer at Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee. The Jacksons are the children of Lakinin and D’Rik Jackson. Tycamren played football for the Bulldogs for two seasons.

Ashland Kelley will be playing volleyball at LBW Community College. Ashland is the child of Sarah and Jason Kelley. Ashland was a part of the Lady Bulldog volleyball team for six years.

Olivia Mikel will be playing softball at LBW Community College. Olivia is the child of Anthony Mikel and Amy Mikel. Olivia was a member of the Lady Bulldog varsity softball team since the 7th grade.


Dianna-Grace Nelson is scheduled to play basketball in Coastal Alabama Community College in Monroeville, Alabama. Her parents are Stephanie and John Wesley Snodgrass. Dianna-Grace was a member of the Lady Bulldog basketball team since the 8th grade.


Cedric “C.J.” Sinkfield is a football player in the football field at Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee. C.J. is the child of Tiffany and Anthony Anderson. C.J. has played for the Bulldogs for three seasons.

Brody Stewart will be playing football at the University of North Alabama in Florence. The Stewarts are the children of Derrick Stewart and Candace Stewart. Brody has played football with the Bulldogs for three years.

Zion Williams will be playing volleyball for Enterprise State Community College. Her parents are Selena Lockhart and Michael Lockhart. Zion was a part of the Lady Bulldog volleyball team for six years.
