He was Mr. Russell Derrel Johns Sr. 95, from Andalusia passed away on Tuesday, May 17 2023 in peace at his home.

Funeral service of the late Mr. Johns will be Saturday 20th May at 10 a.m. The service will be held at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Thorne and Pastor John Hunt officiating. The burial will be at the Good Hope Cemetery. A visitation with the late Mr. Johns will be Friday May 19th at 5:45 p.m. in the Foreman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Brodie Maddox Tyler Tucker, Brent Tucker, J.C. Cross, Eli Rempel, Jake Johns, Chris Johns, Sean O’Rourke, and Emilie Long.
Mr. Russell is survived by a son, Kenneth Alpha Johns (Kim) of Andalusia; four daughters, Gwen (Ricky) Sightler of Andalusia, Sarah (Rick) Thorne of Phenix City, Alabama, Patsy (Bruce) Stinson of Andalusia, and Nancy (Sean) O’Rourke of Andalusia; 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
The late Mr. Johns is preceded in death by his wife of his 67 years Doris Annette Johns; Russell Johns Jr., his son; Russell Johns Jr.; and four other siblings, John Thomas Johns, Willie Ben Johns, Annie Mae Ryals as well as Mable Jewel Taylor.
Familie members are welcome to accept donations of flowers.
