Anniston, AL –On June 3rd, from 10:00 am until at 5:00 pm. Herb Fest is back! It’s the perfect time to be grateful and rejoice in our those slimy, scaly friends! Herp Fest 2023 will be held at The Longleaf Event Center with fun for all the family. Experience face painting, interactive activities for kids that include reptile and amphibian themed demonstrations, as well as live animals. This year’s participants include Alabama Herpetological Society, Jacksonville State University, Cheaha State Park, Cook Museum, and Birmingham Zoo, just to just some. At the event, food trucks are available serving delicious meals and snacks. This event provides visitors of all ages with the chance to get acquainted with slimy and scaly creatures. Additionally, they can enjoy an I Spy! Herp Edition scavenger hunt. I Spy! is included in you HerpFest entry ticket.
When you visit Enjoy all that Anniston Museums and Gardens has to offer. Anniston Museums and Gardens has to provide. There is a lot to see. Anniston Museum of Natural History and the Berman Museum will be participating in the fun with herp-related scavenger hunts as well as artifact exhibits. HerpFest costs only $10 for each person. AM&G members enjoy an additional discount of $5. Tickets can be purchased on the internet through www.ExploreAMAG.org and at the gate.
