Anniston, AL –Both the Anniston Public Library and the Anniston Museums and Gardens are hosting book clubs.
The 7th of June, on a Wednesday between 12:00 pm – at 1:00 pm, is The Bibliotek Book Club held at the Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County. The club meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 12 noon. For information on this month’s bookclub book, visit http://publiclibrary.cc/bookclub. On the 7th of June, on a Wednesday at 6:00 pm, the Berman Book Club will meet at the Anniston Museums and Gardens. Explore the past via the prism of historical fiction. Engage in lively conversation and look at objects in Berman’s collection. Berman collection. History is brought to life as participants discover the story that shaped the historic events. Registration is required prior to the event. Berman Book Club is $8 and is free for Anniston Museums and Gardens members. The selection for June is Dragonfly from Leila Meacham. It is the Berman Book Club is scheduled to meet on September 5th, Tuesday in order to talk about The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett.
