- He. Sikorski was present to discuss the matter and to emphasize that the vehicles located on his property were not “junk or abandoned. These are cars he is trying to restore. He was told that the vehicle could be inspected by the code enforcement officials to discuss the best strategy.

- The contracts currently in place are with Osborn Foodservice and Flowers Baking Co. of Birmingham will be extended for two additional one-year terms, with the option to extend the contract for two additional one-year terms if agreed to by both the parties.

Surplus Property Resolution – EMA Command Trailer –
Unanimously approved
- An 2005 Pace American 12*8.5 Enclosed Trailer currently being used by Calhoun County EMA. Calhoun County EMA will be donated to the Piedmont Police Department providing them an operational mobile command vehicle. EMA Director Myles Chamblee expressed gratitude to the commission for their acceptance of the donation. He also read an email from Piedmont chief Nathan Johnson. Chief Johnson was in a position to miss the event due to an earlier scheduled commitment.

Public Comments
- Jakob Williamson with the Chamber of Commerce invited all commissioners to attend the State of the Cities.
- Audrey Maxwell withChamber of Commerce talked about the multitude of occasions scheduled for June and July.
- Dr. Reyes Director for the Calhoun County Schools spoke of the numerous improvements to the facilities that will be completed during the summer. He also discussed the fantastic athletic success on playing golf, Softball and other teams within Calhoun County.
- Ed Turner with the Anniston Water Works & Sewer Board spoke of the continuing collaboration and cooperation with County and also spoke of a leak that could require investigation.
