“In accordance to the President’s Presidential Proclamation, I direct flags to be flown at half-staff Wednesday, December 7, 2022 in honor of and memory of our military personnel who bravely fought at Pearl Harbor.”

Eighty-one year ago, the entire world watched with horror and disbelief when Japanese fighter aircraft attacked the United Stats Navel Base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. More than 2,400 Americans were killed and much of the Pacific Fleet was destroyed. Let us never forget those who gave their lives to defend our country and uphold what is right.

For Wednesday, December 7, 2022, the flags must be flown at half-staff.
