  • Shawn Spruce, Native America Calling

    • Native America Calling can be described as a live-streamed call-in program that encourages national discussion on issues that concern Native communities. It is broadcast on more than 90 public communication as well as tribal radio channels across Canada and the US as well as Canada, Shawn Spruce hosts the show. He first appeared as a host in the year 2011, and is the present host. The show recently received the National Humanities Medal. The show airs locally on KTOO from 1 pm on Mondays through Fridays.
    • We are so fortunate to be able to have Shawn on our show in Juneau this week. we will have him live on our the Studio 2K which is dedicated for Carolyn Hobbs Peterson, to discuss the importance of media for public use.


  • Juneau Community Bands’ Concert July

    • Juneau Community Bands loves to provide the pleasure and art of music for both wind and percussionists to all. One way to do this is by hosting that of the Juneau Volunteer Marching Band Independence Day concert on Saturday, July 2 at 3pm in Sealaska Heritage Arts Plaza. Sealaska Heritage Arts Plaza.


  • Juneau Piano Series concert on Friday, June 30

    • A long-time Juneau fan, Alexander Tutunov, will be performing in Juneau to perform alongside Local violinist Franz Felkl. Friday June 30, at 7 9 pm on the JACC.
