Oxford, AL –The Oxford Parks and Recreation and The City of Oxford, Alabama will be organizing their annual fireworks celebration on Oxford Lake Park on Independence Day, July 4th 2023. Address: 401 McCullars ln, Oxford, AL 36203-. It is a no-cost event that also includes full of events that begin at 8:00 am. The parade will take place, a petting animals, free carnival games and prizes, a variety of food vendors, and so many more. The night will end at 9:00 pm, you can watch the official firework display on Oxford Lake.

Schedule:

8 AM 8 AM: Around the Lake ramble for older adultsto walk around the lake and receive the ribbon!

8:30 AM: Sign up for the parade and Line-up in the parking lot of the baseball stadium

9:00 AM PARADE Children dressed to the nines may walk/ride in non-motorized cars down McCullars Lane **ALL children must wear a helmet when riding! **

9:00 AM OFFICIAL OPENING Ceremonies under the dome of green (interstate part of Civic Center building)

9:00 AM: Tricycle & Bicycle races- you must wear a helmet (bring your bicycle)

9:00 10:00 AM Pet Show (begins after the opening ceremony)

8:30-11:30 10:00 AM Petting Zoo- end of Civic Center- closed to covered bridge

9:45-11:15 AM: Free carnival games and prizes available to youngsters (inside the gymnasium)

11:00-4: Oxford Lake Pool- hours are today 11-4pm (Admission $2 per person)
