Doris Elizabeth Headrick Farmer, 80, died on November 21 2022. Her birth date was the 6th of March 1942, to deceased John as well as Dolly Headrick in rural Cherokee, Alabama. She was a faithful participant in the Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church where she always served the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. She was a devoted member of the church. Doris loved her church and could not resist spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. On the 29th of July in 1960, she was married to her beloved Ronald and together they raised three children. Later in her life she became a mother. Doris became the manager of Martin’s restaurant. She was a great cook, with her beloved biscuit recipes, which are utilized in all establishments. Mrs. Doris also loved tending to her flowers and spending time close to her loved ones. She was a joyous grandma and great-grandma when her grandchildren were around. She was a joy to be around. Doris was very loved and will be greatly loved. Apart from her parents she was passed away by her wife of over 30 years Ronald Farmer; sisters, Francis Pollard and Glenda Bassett’s and siblings, James Harlan Headrick and John Headrick. Her survivors include her three children, David (Dana) Farmer of Dallas, Nissie (Doug) Brewster of Temple as well as Pete (Nancy) Farmer or Carrollton Three sisters Eloise Kerr from Piedmont, AL. Ruth Bowman of Piedmont, AL. as well as Mary Norton of Piedmont, AL. ; six grandchildren, Elizabeth (Colton) Peppers of Baldwin, GA., Trevor (MiKayla) Brewster of Cedartown, David Farmer Jr. of Dallas, Amelia Farmer of Greenville, SC., Max Farmer of Carrollton, Lindsey Farmer of Carrollton; two great-granddaughters, Addilyn Elizabeth Peppers and Anniston Rose Peppers, and several nieces and nephews.
