Oxford, AL – On the 18th of May 2023, approximately 10:00 at night at approximately 10:00 pm, the Oxford Police Department had been called to conduct an inspection of the welfare of the resident. On arrival, officers found Pamela Williams, 67, from Oxford and was found dead in her home. Investigators were contacted to investigate the scene, and a preliminary investigation was initiated. The reason for the death wasn’t immediately identified, so the victim was referred into the Medical Examiner for a full autopsy.

During the investigation, a possible suspect was discovered. Kyle Thomas Krieger, 29 from Oxford is the father of the victim. He was also a resident of the same house. The police discovered that Krieger was communicating with relatives of his and was well-informed about the scene of the crime. They also learned of the possibility that Krieger was a fugitive from his home in the State of Alabama and went to Carson County Texas which is part of the Panhandle. Investigators were able to gather enough evidence to secure an arrest warrant against Krieger as well. Texas authorities arrested him. In the Texas jail, Krieger tried to stop extradition, however after a Governor’s warrant was secured, he was eventually taken in Calhoun County. Krieger is accused of Murder and is currently in custody without bond.
