Feagin Allen Sweatt was born Oct. 3, 1936. He died at Mizell Memorial Hospital on December 7, 2022 at the age of 86.

Feagin was born to Mrs. Allen E. Sweatt (Red Level) and Eva Chesser Sweatt (Red Level). She graduated from Red Level High School in 1956.
His son Mark Sweatt, of Trego, Montana, and his daughters Melanye (Jerry), Milton of Red Level, Kimberly Boutwell, (Craig), of the Babbie community and Scott Sweatt, (Mahala), of Dothan, are also survivors of Mr. Sweatt. Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren are also survivors of Mr. Sweatt. One sister, Mrs. Lynne Tiller, of Macon, Georgia is also a survivor, along with three siblings who predeceased him: Mr. Norman Sweatt and Mrs. Agnes Fuller Ingram.
Feagin, or simply “Feg”, as many called him, was a farmer by trade and loved the rural lifestyle he grew to love. As his health began to decline, Feagin would find comfort in his farm animals and pets.
Funeral services will be held for Mr. Sweatt on Saturday, December 10, at Foreman-Brown Funeral Home. The family will have private viewings from 12:30 to 1 pm. Public viewing will be from 1 to 2 pm. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. In the Pigeon Creek community, near Red Level, interment will be in Sweatt Family Cemetery.
