It was a beautiful playground, and when it was open, all of the locals were raving about it! It is worth a visit! City of Weaver is also organizing some fantastic events in the park, so make sure to visit the FB page to see upcoming events!
Elwell Park Weaver Alabama

500 Anniston St, Weaver, Al 36277
Weaver City Park (Elwell Park) serves as more than a park, but also as an entry point for the Chief Ladiga Trail. The Park is outfitted with basketball courts, picnic areas and tennis courts and a playground. It also has a disc golf, splash pads as well as a walking trail but it also houses skating and an animal park that has military-grade obstacles.

am in love with the mix of vintage’ (ie what us parents were raised on!) playground equipment paired with the updated structures and splash pads!

This play area has something for everyone of everyone of all different ages. Preschoolers and toddlers will enjoy the splash pad as well as the main play area. The school age kids will enjoy the high slides! Teens will love the skate park. Adults are provided with disc golf and an area for walking shaded.

It is possible to find plenty of covered seating areas ranging that range from under a pavilion, to private picnic tables with individual umbrellas.

The grass is mainly grass and mulch in addition to the splash pad.

There there are plenty of seating options in the park, with great views of the play areas from every angle.

Splash Pad is open at the moment on weekends!

The park has a dog park that has an obstacles that are right beside the park. It’s not close enough that you are in a position to observe your child’s play and let your dog run around, however they are linked.

Its skatepark my most favourite part of the park because it’s so distinct to the area. There are rails, ramps, and everything you require to have a good time, from beginners up to experienced skaters.

There are an Little Library located on the site, so bring your books and also grab a few books that you haven’t read before!
