Officer Solomon Doss named USO Service Member of Year for the State of Alabama

Piedmont (AL –On the 4th of December, the Piedmont Police Department, Chief Nathan Johnson, shared their congratulations to Officer Solomon Doss on being named USO Service Member for the Year for Alabama. He was awarded for his service to his country and his bravery and heroism in his community. Chief Johnson said that Officer Doss’ accomplishments are something that the Piedmont Police Department (and myself) are proud of. Please help us congratulate Officer Doss for his accomplishment!” Mike D. Rogers, Congressman, stated that “I am pleased to see SPC Solomon Doss be awarded the National Guardsman-of-the Year honor due to his selfless act de bravery.” SPC Solomon Doss was recognized in the Congressional Record.
