The School of Career Education at the University of Alaska Southeast provides programs to address the short-term requirements for training and long-term vocational, career and technical education requirements of the people in Southeast Alaska. The school is now led by an incoming dean, Cory Ortiz, who started as dean in July. Today’s program, Cory shares his background and the priorities he has for the school. He also gives an explanation of many departments and programs under his direction.
