The Andalusia Ballet will host its annual Auction and Dinner Benefit on August 26 in the Church Street Cultural Arts Centre. The event will begin around 7 p.m.
The auction theme this year, “Vida Vibrante,” is based on the theme for 2023-24, “Vibrant!” The evening will begin with socializing, followed by a light meal. The members of Andalusia Ballet’s Senior Company will perform before auctioneer Jason Sasser takes the floor to begin auction.
The bid packages this year include everything from a beach getaway to breakfast to eight guests by Brenda Gantt. The bid package options also include however, they are not restricted to:
- an hour-long hunt for quail
- private dance lessons;
- An heirloom christening dress and hand-printed art work;
- an oil painting by Vicki Popwell.
- A birthday celebration for a girl which includes the venue as well as birthday cake and entertainment from our ballerinas
- A diamond ring with pink sapphire made by Christopher’s Diamonds & Fine Jewelry;
- a handmade John Chapman knife;
- an evening of wine and four charcuterie plates on the premises of The B;
- Pet packages that include grooming, a portrait of your pet gifts, gift certificates and other treats;
- An interior design consultation that includes gifts certificates for Darby’s as well as Walker’s;
- Wellness packages for women;
- numerous packages featuring wine, food, and cigars.
The proceeds support the Andalusia Ballet’s mission to spread dance’s art to the public that it serves through performances, training and outreach programs. These include school-based performances, Discover Dance Days and AIM High AIM High, a cost-free dance class for boys.
