Anniston, AL –Per the Alabama Lawenforcment Agency (ALEA) the crash of two vehicles that took place at around 11.57 a.m. on Wednesday August. 23 caused the death of a Anniston man. David W. Pledger, 55, suffered serious injuries after the 2009 Hyosung GT650R motorbike he was driving struck an 2015 Dodge Ram driven by Phillip Harwell 54, who lives in Albertville. Pledger was taken to UAB Hospital in Birmingham, which was where he died from his injuries and was declared dead. The accident occurred in Wildman Road, approximately three miles to the west of Anniston located within Calhoun County. There is no further information available at this time. troopers with Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to look into the incident.
