Calhoun County, AL Calhoun County, ALThe Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office has tracked down fugitive Anthony Jamichael Delaney. Delaney was detained on outstanding warrants.
On the 12th of December 2022, 2022, on December 12, 2022, the Jacksonville Police Department originally requested assistance in finding the person of interest Anthony Jamichael Delaney. Delaney was initially wanted to be questioned regarding a variety of investigation into burglaries in vehicles, where several firearms were taken. Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office also had warrants in force for Delaney for an infraction to probation for receiving stolen property as well as resisting arrest.
On the 28th of August 2023, Central Alabama CrimeStoppers received an anonymous tip which provided information about the location of Delaney’s last known location. The Calhoun County Warrant Team responded rapidly to Delaney’s spot and took Delaney into police custody in less than five a matter of minutes of receiving the tip.
CrimeStoppers thanked their partner, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, one of their most recent partners, for responding quickly and making sure a wanted criminal was found and removed from the street in a speedy way.
CrimeStoppers will pay an amount of cash to the “Brave anonymous tipper who went beyond to inform the public of the location of wanted suspect. Through the anonymous tipster’s details, Delaney was safely located and taken into police custody.”
Delaney is no more wanted by law enforcement agencies.
