Jacksonville, AL –The City of Jacksonville extends an invitation to all citizens to come out on Monday, September 11, at noon for an emotional and touching occasion which is it will be the City of Jacksonville’s annual 9/11 memorial ceremony. This solemn celebration is designed to honor those who remember Jacksonville local, Army Major. Dwayne Williams, as well as all those innocent lives lost on the tragic day of September 11, 2001.
If you are not able to be present live, the event will be streamed live on Facebook to ensure that everyone is able to participate and be reminded of this important moment in our collective history. It’s an opportunity to come to reflect, unite, and remember the strength and determination that emerged from the tragedy of the 9/11 attacks.
