Students studying EMT from LBW Community College had the chance to get a better understanding of medical flights through an appearance by Haynes LifeFlight’s Haynes LifeFlight team on Wednesday September. 6.
“We want to offer our sincere thanks to the dedicated people who made this day memorable flight nurses Chryste Amos; flight medical technician Geoffrey Griffin; and pilot Michael Childers,” EMS Clinical Assistant Megan Hilliard said.
“Haynes LifeFlight was privileged to have the privilege of meeting with EMT students from Lurleen B. Wallace Community College in Andalusia. Students had the opportunity to learn the skills our crews possess and also ask any questions they might have. Maybe they will be members of the Haynes Lifeflight family someday,” the Haynes Lifeflight statement read.
Haynes Lifeflight is located at 545 Hospital Drive in Wetumpka, Alabama.
