Calhoun County, AL Every week, each week, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office released their latest “Most wanted” list. A “FTA” indicates that a person has failed to attend a court hearing and doesn’t necessarily mean that they are guilty of a crime. A “Probation violation” is when a person was accused of a crime and is ordered to be on probation justices. “SORNA” is the acronym for Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind everyone not to make any decisions by themselves, but instead call authorities such as the Sheriff’s Office or local Police Department to ask them to investigate further. There are occasions when warrants can be cancelled and the suspect has been removed from the wanted list.
