Oxford, AL –Anastasia Jones who is a proud resident from Oxford, Alabama, embarked on a thrilling adventure to develop “Oxford-opoly” in her quest to earn an award called the Girl Scout Gold Award. She attended Coldwater Elementary, C.E. Hanna, Oxford Middle School and graduating at Oxford High School in 2023 Anastasia’s roots in the community go deep.
currently enrolling at an Navy ROTC course in Jacksonville University in Florida, which is where she’s majoring in Aviation Management and Flight Operations Anastasia’s dedication to her community shines through. She hopes to become an official full-time in the Navy which will undoubtedly contribute to the improvement of her nation.
Anastasia’s involvement with Girl Scouting dates back to her early years in kindergarten as an active member in Troop 20136. It was the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest esteemed award in that of Girl Scouts of the USA was her aim. The Gold Award is only earned by senior and ambassador Girl Scouts who develop and implement sustainable solutions to solve the challenges facing their local communities as well as beyond.
