The Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal accident and is seeking the help of the public in providing information or other information regarding an ongoing inquiry.

On September. 14th, police responded at the 19000 block Andalusia Highway in Crenshaw County for a person lying on the roadway. When they arrived, officers located the male victim, who suffered life-threatening injuries. He was then transported to Andalusia Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead. It was determined that the victim’s name is Joseph Cody Wayne Williamson, 25, from Andalusia.

The investigation is in progress and the information is scarce at present. Investigators would like to know if anyone may have information to share it with them. Anyone who contacts Central Alabama CrimeStoppers always remain completely anonymous.
