The Covington County Sheriff’s Office has located a fugitive who was wanted on numerous felony charges.

The Covington County Sheriff’s Office sought help from the community on Wednesday September. 20th, in its hunt in the search for Brandon Brewster, 26. Brewster was wanted on multiple unanswered felony charges as well as outstanding warrants issued by the three agencies of law enforcement.

The investigation team says Brewster was detained Thursday night September. 21 at New Brockton.

“A special thank you goes to our deputies, investigators along with our K-9 trackers. Coffee County Sheriff’s Office was an enormous aid. Before his arrest, Geneva County Sheriff’s Office as well as Geneva County Sheriff’s Office and the State Department of Corrections assisted in the same way. The arrest was multi-agency,” said Sheriff Blake Turman.

Investigators have said Brewster had previously made threats to himself, and was initially thought to be an imminent threat to himself, and possibly others.

“For those who may know Brandon the man, he’s in good in the care of someone,” Turman said.

Brewster is in Covington County Jail. Covington County Jail on the charges of two felony burglaries. Brewster also has holds from several other counties.
