Jacksonville, AL – Halloween is fast approaching as Jacksonville City is gearing up for a fun-filled Halloween with an array of thrilling activities that promise to entertain everyone of all ages.

Creepy Crawly Halloween Date: 20th October 3:00 p.m.

Get ready for Halloween by attending Halloween festivities that kick off with the “Creepy crawly halloween” program in The Jacksonville Public Library. It’s the Anniston Natural History Museum is going to let loose the most fascinating and, let’s face it, spine-tingling animals to allow all ages to explore the weirdest creatures in nature. It’s also free, and there will be snacks to keep you energized while you explore the mysterious realm of these fascinating creatures.

The Not-So-Haunted Trail Trek

Date: 24th October 6-8 p.m.

Place: Jacksonville Community Center

Entry: $5 children under 12, and adults are free

On October 24, Tuesday between 6 and 8 p.m. You can join on the “Not-So-Haunted Trail Trek” at the Jacksonville Community Center. Get ready for an exciting journey that will take you down Alexandria Road to the Creekside Trail and then on to the chief Ladiga Trail and back to the center for community activities. On the way, you can anticipate spooky sights, thrilling games, and obviously, a collection of candy. The most appealing aspect? The cost of admission is $5 for children younger than 12 years old, and adults can enjoy the event at no cost. If it rains the event will be moved indoors to the community centre.

Haunted Jacksonville Walking Tour

Date: 27 October at 8:30 p.m. to register

– Location: Jacksonville Public Library

If you’re looking for an experience that will make you sweat The “Haunted Jacksonville Walking Tour” is a must-attend experience. Local experts in history will lead you through the gruelling history of Jacksonville in the downtown area. It is important to note that the program is intended for those aged 13 or more because of the seriousness of the tales, making it an unforgettable late-night adventure for both adults and teens. It’s completely cost-free! To sign up, visit your Jacksonville Public Library annex’s south entry point, which opens starting at 8:15 p.m. If the tour group is full do not fret, you can sign-up for the next tour or for a later date. Tours usually last around an hour with two guides guiding separate groups. Registration continues until midnight. Additionally, the library is offering hot chocolate and coffee for everyone to sip during and after the eerie tour.

The Very “Square-y” Halloween Party

Date: 28 October 5 – 7 p.m.

Place: Public Square, Downtown Jacksonville

Admission for admission is free

Get ready for Halloween by hosting “A Very ‘Square Halloween Celebration” on October 28 between 5 and 7 p.m. The event will take place at Public Square in Downtown Jacksonville. This event is a co-operative effort by Jacksonville Merchants on the Square and Jacksonville Parks & Recreation, offering a fun-filled evening of costumes, games, Halloween stories, and more. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the spirit of Halloween and make memorable memories.
