Weaver, AL – Are you eager to test your strength and take on the undead? It’s time to test your mettle. Weaver Track & Field presents the thrilling and adrenaline-inducing “Zombie 5K Race” in Elwell Park in Weaver on Saturday 21st of October. This event isn’t for the faint-hearted Participants will run an obstacle course of 5k through the park, while being chased by blood-sucking zombies. It’s an adrenaline rush you’ll never wish to miss.
The registration fee is $20 per person, and you can choose a race shirt for just $25. To reserve your spot just hand in your registration fee to the trainer or to an office at the Weaver High School office. The greatest aspect? The proceeds from the event will go to helping The Weaver Track & Field Team and, therefore, you’ll not only have fun however, you’ll also help a worthy cause.
To add a dash of spooky fun to make the experience more memorable participants are encouraged to dress up in costumes while they race across the field. So, whether you’d like to become a fearless zombie hunter or fearful survivor, be creative in your outfit and get into the spirit of Halloween.
Are you unable to attend an early date for registration? No worries! You are still able to join in with the party.
