Jacksonville, AL – – October 17, 2023 The city of Jacksonville, Alabama – October 17, 2023 Jacksonville State’s Alpha Omicron Pi sorority is getting ready for the biggest and most exciting Halloween celebration that they have ever had, Spookathon, set to be held on the 26th of October from 6:00 pm to 8:30 PM in Paul Carpenter Village, also called the JSU’s Fraternity Row. The thing that makes this event more terrifying is that all proceeds will go towards Alpha Omicron’s philanthropic foundation, The Arthritis Research Foundation.

Spookathon promises a night filled with adrenaline that will bring the community as well as JSU students to share special Halloween festivities. The year is the first time that Alpha Omicron Pi has been collaborating with the Pi Kappa Phi, Kappa Alpha Order along with the Kappa Alpha Order and Kappa Sigma fraternities, who will transform their homes into haunted and eerie attractions, providing a truly unforgettable experience to the brave souls who choose to venture into.

The Halloween celebration offers many different activities that are suitable for all ages.

Highlights of Spookathon’s features include:

Three terrifying Haunted Houses Prepare yourself for a trip to each fraternity’s haunted home full of chills and excitement. Tickets cost just $10, and will grant access to the three haunted houses and $4 per house.

The Costume Contest participants stand the chance to win the gift card prize! So, dress in your most imaginative costume and take part in the contest.

Halloween Fun at the Fall Festival: Get lost in a fun-filled fall festival with fun activities and games. There’s a bounce house as well as a pie-eating contest, costume contest and apples bobbing and so much more! This means that there’s something to suit all ages no matter if you’re looking for thrilling thrills or entertaining for the entire family.

Students and community-minded: Spookathon extends an open invitation to all the community, including JSU students. Everyone is welcome to take part in the Halloween celebrations, so bring your family and friends for a night full of thrilling Halloween fun.
