Arizona sues Instagram over claims platform harms youth mental health

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes was among attorneys general from 42 states and Washington, D.C., who filed state and federal lawsuits on Tuesday against the tech major Meta regarding their Facebook as well as Instagram platforms. The lawsuits claim they were claiming that Meta Platforms, led by co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, knowingly designed Instagram and other social media platforms in a manner that makes them addicting for teens and children and affects their mental health, all the while informing the public they were safe for kids…
