The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the cutting of the ribbon for the Dermatology Specialists of Alabama’s Andalusia location, along with the open house of the clinic on Wednesday, October. 25.
In attendance were among those in attendance were Dr. Jeffrey Stricker, cutting the ribbon and certified physician assistant Amanda Day; Dermatology Specialists Office Administrator Summer Adkins; Dermatology Specialists teams; AACC Executive Director Mellisa King, left from ribbon. AACC Director of Membership Services Maggie Holmes, left of ribbon; different Chamber board members, and the City of Andalusia Dist. 4 Councilman Presley Boswell.
Andalusia is the smallest of the four areas for Dermatology Specialists of Alabama along with Dothan, Enterprise, and Troy. Services offered include skin cancer diagnosis and screening, skin cancer removal, biopsies and cryosurgery for chronic skin disorders such as warts, rashes acne, warts, and treatment for eczema, Mohs operation, mole assessment as well as treatment and testing of skin allergic conditions, as well as advanced treatments for various issues affecting the hair, skin, and nails.
Dermatology Specialists of Alabama is managed and run through Southeastern Dermatology Group, PA along with Dermatology Solutions Group, LLC which has more than 20 practices for medical care in the south-central United States. The address is 822B South Three Notch Street in Andalusia. The hours of operation are from Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to five p.m. and on Fridays between 8 a.m. until noon.
