Centennial Memorial Park, officially named Alabama’s Veterans Memorial, in the year 1999 serves as a solemn ode to those who given their all in their service to their country. The Veterans Day ceremony at Centennial Park is an incredibly emotional event with a distinguished lineup of public speakers and other dignitaries who will be coming together to remember and honor the sacrifices of our veterans.

03 Calhoun County Veterans Day Parade

Time: Beginning at 2:00 pm CT

Road: Noble Street, from 17th Street to 9th Street

The Calhoun County Veterans Day Parade is a major commemoration of the veterans we have that will be held in the roads of Anniston. Noble Street is closed between 17th Street to 9th Street when the parade starts on 15th and Noble ending on 9th and Noble. The Grand Marshal this year will be none other than Anniston City Manager Steven D. Folks, Sr. He is a well-known veteran of 21 years of service with the U.S. Army. It is the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department Color Guard Team will be leading the parade, stopping for the Reviewing Stand to perform to sing the National Anthem.
