AACC welcomes veteran to be part in the parade

Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community as well as all veterans to participate for this year’s Veterans Day parade.

All veterans and family members are welcome to join the parade on floats made for the event by members of the chamber. The parade will take place on Saturday, November. 11 and will begin around 10 a.m. starting at The First Baptist Church. The line-up will take place between 9 and 9:45 a.m. The parade will go from FBC to the city hall, where the special event will take place on Veterans Park.

There is no cost to participate in the parade. Walkers bikes golf carts trailers, floats and parade floats are welcome.

“Let’s unite as a community on Veterans Day to show our gratitude and recognize those who sacrificed and served to protect our country. We welcome everyone to be part of this beautiful celebration of our veterans,” stated Maggie Holmes, the chamber’s director of membership services.
